RELIGIOUS SERVICES COMMITTEE
GROUP: RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS
CHARGE: To provide leadership in the organization
and content of the worship services and to act as
advisor to the Minister in this capacity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Provide the Minister with insight relative to the
impact of regular and special worship services.
2.Participate in planning specific services as agreed
on by the Minister, Director of Religious Education,
and members of the committee.
3.Be alert to the needs of the congregation regarding
worship services.
4.Include the Director of Music, Ushers Committee,
and Chancel Decorations Coordinator in committee
meetings, as needed, in order to coordinate plans for
worship services.
5.Assist in housing pulpit guests.
6.Advise the chair of the Finance Committee by
January of budget needs for the next fiscal year.
7.Provide the church office with copies of minutes
and reports.

MEETING SCHEDULE: As needed but at least quarterly
