Funds and Fellowship Committee

The Funds and Fellowship Committee organizes many of the social and fundraising events in the church community, such as dinners, Sunday potlucks, holiday parties, etc. The committee works with others to prepare and serve refreshments after Sunday worship services.
COMMITTEE DESCRIPTION: FUNDS & FELLOWSHIP
COUNCIL: CONGREGATIONAL AFFAIRS
CHARGE: To organize, schedule, & monitor fundraising activities and social events in the congregational community
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Consult with the Finance Committee to estimate revenue goal.
2. Schedule at least 3-4 events per year and recruit chairperson(s) to manage, publicize and carry out the events including tracking all costs, revenue, and profit using Income/Expense Operations Form.
3. Keep and maintain records of all events and minutes of meetings.
4. Recruit a sub-committee to oversee and manage Sunday Potluck luncheons
MEMBERS: 3 with one chairperson
TERMS OF OFFICE: Two years
MEETING SCHEDULE: Early September, early January, & Late May
